TOWSON, Md. - Goucher overcame a 16-point deficit in the second half tonight to take a one-point lead over Randolph with more than eight minutes remaining. But the WildCats responded with a run of 10 unanswered points which helped them secure a 74-65 non-conference victory over the Gophers.

TOWSON, Md. - Two free throws by Pat Bailey (Rockville, MD/Magruder) with 2:02 left to play allowed Goucher to pull into a 68-68 tie with Moravian in the Sports & Recreation Center tonight, but that deadlock lasted all of three seconds. The Greyhounds regained the lead when Eric Weaver converted two free throws with 1:59 showing on the clock and went on to record a 78-71 Landmark Conference victory over the Gophers.
HUNTINGDON, Pa. - Goucher couldn't continue shooting as well in the second half as it did during the first 20 minutes of the contest and wound up suffering a 72-62 loss to Juniata in Landmark Conference action today.
SELINSGROVE, Pa. - When Goucher lost to Susquehanna by 17 points at home last month, Josh Robinson tallied 25 points for the Crusaders. In tonight's rematch, the senior guard didn't stop there.
KINGS POINT, N.Y. - A dunk by junior forward Amir Hakim (Baltimore, MD/Baltimore City College) with :44 remaining put Goucher ahead by a point and junior guard Darrin Boswell II (Philadelphia, PA/Joppatowne) sealed the outcome by making four free throws in the closing seconds today as the Gophers earned a 60-57 Landmark Conference victory over Merchant Marine.
MADISON, N.J. - A three-point basket by Pat Bailey (Rockville, MD/Maguder) with 6:31 left to play provided Goucher with its biggest lead of the game, a 52-46 cushion over Drew. But the Gophers would score only two more points the rest of the way tonight, allowing the Rangers to rally for a 61-54 Landmark Conference victory.
TOWSON, Md. - Goucher didn't help its cause by falling 11 points behind Susquehanna in the first eight minutes today, but that deficit was quickly erased by a run of 11 unanswered points that produced an 18-18 tie. Momentum at that point certainly appeared to be on the Gophers' side.
TOWSON, Md. - Goucher made its final seven shots from the field and all four of its free-throw attempts as it rallied over the final 4:10 tonight to gain an 85-78 Landmark Conference victory over Juniata.

TOWSON, Md. - Goucher has struggled at the free-throw line this season -- a .505 shooting percentage through the first 12 games. But the Gophers turned in a solid 19-of-23 performance at the charity stripe tonight, a huge factor in their 78-75 Landmark Conference victory over Drew.
TOWSON, Md. - Overtime has hardly been kind to Goucher this season, but that's what the Gophers were hoping for after baskets by Amir Hakim (Baltimore, MD/Baltimore City College) and Darrin Boswell II (Philadelphia, PA/Joppatowne) allowed the Gophers to knock a seven-point deficit with :46 remaining down to 65-62 with :23 still left to play tonight.
