Gophers Open Men's Golf Season at The Gauntlet

HARRISBURG, Pa. - The Goucher College men's golf team opened the 2023-24 season at The Gauntlet at Dauphin Highlands Golf Course Sunday and Monday.  The Gophers posted a two-day score of 600 to place 14th overall, but just 26 shots back of tournament champion Franklin & Marshall in a tightly-packed field.

Graduate student Evan Yue and junior transfer Tejas Baichwal finished amongst a tie for 30th overall with a two-day score of 148.  Baichwal shot 73 on Sunday and 75 on Monday, while Yue posted back-to-back scores of 74.  Sophomore Andy Garcia finished one shot back at 149 and finished in a tie for 40th overall.  Garcia carded a 74 on day one.

Riley Ruby carded an opening-round 77 and finished at 155 for the tournament, while Mikolaj Pula fired a 78 Sunday and finished at 158.
