Men's Soccer All-Decade Team Announced
BALTIMORE, Md. – After a week of online voting, Goucher Athletics has announced the Men's Soccer All-Decade Team. We would like to thank you everyone that voted! Congratulations to the members of the 2010s Goucher College Men's Soccer All-Decade Team.
FORWARDS: Brandon Cohen, Nate Margolis, Jeremy Hardy
MIDFIELDERS: Lashaw Salta, Elijah Lais, Drew List
DEFENSE: Scott Mt. Plesant, Drew Phillips, Brandon Weiner, Yaya Diabagate
GOALKEEPER: Dan Hendry
To be eligible for the All-Decade Team team, a student-athlete must have competed for at least one season between the 2010 and 2019 seasons. They also must be a graduate or still enrolled at Goucher College. In addition, only the statistics during the years of 2010 and 2019 are eligible so statistics that occur before the year 2010 or after the year 2019 do not count toward the All-Decade team vote.

FORWARDS
Cohen, a Redondo Beach, Calif., native, started all 67 matches played from 2016 to 2019 for the Gophers. He finished his career tied for fourth in goals (27) and points (66) while also tallying 12 assists. Pacing the team in scoring all four years of his career, Cohen was named to the All-Landmark Conference second team in his sophomore and junior campaigns. He posted nine markers and five assists in his freshman year for his best offensive season output in his career.
Margolis, an Ivyland, Pa., native, started 61 of the 63 games he played from 2011 to 2014. He posted 14 goals and 19 assists for 47 points in his time in the Blue and Gold. The 19 career assists are the third-most in program history. He notched a career-best five goals and nine assists for 19 points in his sophomore campaign and was tabbed as an All-Landmark Conference second-team selection in his senior year.
Hardy, a Brooklyn, N.Y., native, started 59 of the 61 contests he played for the Gophers from 2013 to 2016. He recorded four goals and two assists for 10 points in his career. Hardy registered a career-high two markers and an assist for five points in his junior year with both twine twinklers serving as the game-winners against Rosemont and Shenandoah.
MIDFIELDERS
Salta, an Allen, Texas, native, appeared in 55 games with 45 starts from 2011 to 2014. He registered five goals and seven assists for 17 points in his career. He has his best offensive season in a Goucher uniform in his senior campaign after tallying three goals and three assists for nine points to earn a spot on the All-Landmark Conference second team. He scored the decisive goal in a win against St. Mary's in his final season.
Lais, a Grantsville, Md., native, started 34 matches from 2010 to 2011 in his final two seasons in the Blue and Gold. He posted 13 goals and seven assists for 33 points in those two seasons and was named to the All-Landmark Conference second team in his senior campaign. Lais paced the team with nine goals and three helpers in his junior year.
List, who hails from Towson, Md., has started 34 of the 35 contests he has played in 2018 to 2019 during his first two seasons with the Gophers. He tallied two goals and an assist for five points as a freshman and dished out three assists in his sophomore campaign for a total of two markers and four helpers for eight points.
DEFENSE
Mt. Pleasant, a Clifton Park, N.Y., native, started all 71 games in the Goucher defense from 2014 to 2017. He notched six goals for 12 points in his career including a career-best three tallies for six points in 2016 for his best offensive season. Mt. Pleasant was named to the All-Landmark Conference second team as a senior.
Phillips, a Hoosick Falls, N.Y., native, started 63 of the 67 matches played from 2014 to 2017. He posted nine goals and three assists for 21 points in his career. An All-Landmark Conference second-team selection in his final two years, Phillips notched a career-best four markers for eight points in his sophomore year.
Weiner, a Derwood, Md., native, appeared in 58 games with 57 starts from 2011 to 2014 in the Blue and Gold. He registered 11 tallies and six assists for 28 points in his career and was named to the All-Landmark Conference second team as a freshman and to the first team in his senior season. Weiner scored three goals in three of his four seasons in a Goucher uniform.
Diabagate, a Hyattsville, Md., native, started 14 of the 16 games he played in the 2019 season. He jumped onto the scene by scoring his first collegiate goal in his first match of his career and finished the year with three goals and one assist for seven points to earn a spot on the All-Landmark Conference second team.
GOALKEEPER
Hendry, a Lewisburg, Pa., native, started 64 of the 67 games he played in between the pipes from 2015 to 2018. He finished his career tied for the most career shutouts (16) and ranks second in career saves (390) and fourth in goals against average (1.53) while registering a .789 save percentage in 6236:59 minutes. Hendry was named to the All-Landmark Conference second team as a freshman.
