Goucher opens the spring season when the squad travels to Salisbury to play three matches over the weekend
The Gophers will face Virginia Wesleyan, a team Goucher started the spring schedule against last season and head coach Eric Spangler made his head coaching debut
The squad will then battle Methodist for the first time since joining the Landmark Conference and then will square off against nationally-ranked Salisbury with both contests being played on Sunday

Brian Kane lost in the B4 Singles Final while Tetsuya Ota and the doubles team of Michael Herman and Frankie Mullinix won multiple matches to lead Goucher College men's tennis at the ITA Southeast Regional on October 5.
Kane defeated Matthew Fontanese of Ursinus 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 (4) to advance to the B4 Singles Finals. Omosesan Adebamgbe downed Garrett Kincaid of Stevens Tech 6-1, 7-5 to advance to the semifinals. Noah Sellinger of Muhlenburg spoiled an all-Goucher Philadelphia battle by defeating Adebamgbe 6-4, 6-4 and then Sellinger took down Kane 6-1, 6-4 in the B4 Finals.
Ota won three matches on Saturday to advance to the Championship Singles Semifinal Consolation on Sunday. The junior defeated Mason Groff 6-3, 5-7, 1-0 (4) and then took down Matthew Moody from Hamden-Sydney 6-3, 6-2 in singles after defeating Moody and his brother with Adebamgbe in doubles on Friday. Ota advanced to the semifinals after his quarterfinal opponent cancelled the match. Ota will play the winner of Keegan Morris (Stevens Tech)/Andy Mason (Christopher Newport) in the semifinals for the right to go to the final match in the Championship Singles Consolation Final.
Herman and Mullinix won two matches before falling to Thibault Vernier and Stephen Wong of Swarthmore 8-2 in the consolation semifinals. The duo defeated Evan Brady and Noah Tapp of Washington & Lee 8-7 (6-4). The seniors then defeated Juan Borga and Zachary Shane of Lynchburg, 8-2.
