Ladies and gentlemen, with today's Senior Spotlight we would like to thank a men's tennis player for his hard work and dedication to Goucher College and the men's tennis program for the last four years! This senior hails from Prague, Czech Republic, who helped Goucher to three-straight Landmark Conference Men's Tennis Championships. He finished his career with a 44-36 doubles record to rank seventh in team history and 41-31 in singles to sit just outside the Top-10 in 11th place. Named the 2017 Co-Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year and a spot on the all-conference second-team for singles and doubles. He earned two NCAA Division III Tournament singles wins including the only win for the team against John Carroll in his freshman year with a 6-1, 6-2 decision. This year he posted three singles wins and a 7-5 doubles record. He teamed with Frankie Mullinix in the fall to go 3-1 in doubles at the Loyola Men's Tennis Tournament, a predominantly field of NCAA Division I competitors on September 20-22. Majoring in business management, he is the son of Jitka and Kevin. Ladies and gentlemen, Michael Herman.
