Landmark Releases Spring Academic Honor Roll

Martin, Schleichert Represent Goucher Outdoor Track & Field

MADISON, N.J. - Two male members of the outdoor track and field program were among the 36 student-athletes from Goucher who were recognized today by the Landmark Conference for academic accomplishments by being placed on the 2008 Spring Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll.

The honor roll contains the names of 363 student-athletes of sophomore standing or higher from the eight member institutions who played one of the eight sports in which the Landmark Conference conducts a championship during the spring and who have achieved a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.

The following from the men's outdoor track and field program represented Goucher on the 2008 Spring Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll: Zach Martin (Victor, NY/Victor Central) and Will Schleichert (Boyds, MD/Sandy Spring Friends School).

The Landmark Conference, which includes eight like-minded institutions covering the mid-Atlantic region, has concluded its first year of competition.
