Gophers Post Best Score at Landmark Championships Since 2012
The Goucher College men’s track & field team finished sixth at the Landmark Conference T&F Championships with 32 points, the most the team has scored since the 2012 championships held at Moravian.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Goucher College men's track & field team finished sixth at the Landmark Conference T&F Championships with 32 points, the most the team has scored since the 2012 championships held at Moravian.
An All-Landmark Conference Second Team honoree and multiple personal records highlighted the second day of the 2017 Landmark Conference Championships for the Gophers.
How It Happened:
- Freshman Ogemdi Chukwu (Paris, France) took second in the 100mH with a time of 15.64 earning Goucher eight points. He also earned two points in the 100m dash with a time of 11.87, finishing seventh overall.
- Freshman Darby Bauer (Perkiomenville, Pa.) completed a hat trick, scoring in three events at the Landmark Conference Championships, finishing eighth in the javelin throw (37.66m).
- Freshman Xavier Coggeshall (Hampton, N.H.) rounded out the Gopher's scoring on Sunday with a sixth-place finish in the 400mH with a PR time of 1:01.30, cutting nearly two seconds off his previous personal best.
- Freshman JaVaunte Neumann (Revloc, Pa.) finished 9th overall in the javelin throw with a personal best of 36.27m.
- Freshman Brandon Julot (Baltimore, Md.) came in 10th place in the shot put with a toss of 9.74m.
