The fourth and fifth runners from Goucher to come in were Liam Lanahan (Corvallis, Ore./Crescent Valley) in 223rd place (32:01) and Joe DiPiazza (York, Pa./York Catholic) in 245th place (33:11).
A total of 333 runners completed the race and the winner was Brett Kubiak from Gwynedd Mercy with his time of 25:35.
As a team, the Gophers scored 797 points to place 30th out of the 42 schools which had at least five runners cross the finish line.
The College Women's White 6,000-meter race in which Goucher had 10 female entrants was cancelled due to the oppressive heat.
