TOWSON, Md. — The 2013-14 All-Goucher Team was unveiled during a ceremony on Beldon Field at halftime of this afternoon's field hockey game against Scranton.
TOWSON, Md. — The 2013-14 All-Goucher Team was unveiled during a ceremony on Beldon Field at halftime of this afternoon's field hockey game against Scranton.
The All-Goucher Team – now in its fourth year of existence – is chosen by a panel of head coaches and athletic administrators, and represents the 10 most distinguished student-athletes along with most outstanding coach during an academic year. From the voting by members of the panel comes a first team and a second team, along with the team’s captain, who was the top vote-getter.
ANNA CARMICHAEL
Equestrian
Second Team
In her second season as a rider on Goucher’s equestrian team, Anna Carmichael was the IHSA Zone IV champion in novice equitation over fences and novice equitation on the flat. She was part of Goucher’s entry that placed sixth in the nation in the Collegiate Cup Hunter Seat competition at the 2014 IHSA National Horse Show, earning two points for the Gophers by placing fifth in novice fences.
ANDREW FOSTER
Men's Lacrosse
Second Team
Andrew Foster was a first-team defenseman on the 2014 All-Landmark Conference Men’s Lacrosse Team. Playing on a defensive unit that allowed eight or fewer goals in all six of last season’s Landmark games, he was the team leader with 16 caused turnovers and also scooped up 30 ground balls.

Men's Tennis
Second Team
Seth Hoesman, an All-Goucher selection in 2012-13 as a freshman when he was the Men’s Tennis Rookie of the Year in the Landmark Conference, made it again for 2013-14. He played exclusively at No. 1 while compiling a 14-9 record in singles play, plus he was 13-9 in doubles. For the second year in a row, he earned first-team All-Landmark Conference honors for singles and doubles.
SHARNELL HUFF
Women's Basketball
Second Team
Sharnell Huff earned second-team All-Landmark Conference honors in women’s basketball after averaging 16.6 points and 7.0 rebounds per game in 2013-14. She concluded her career with 1,130 points, a total that included 142 made 3-point field goals, the most by any player in the history of Goucher’s women’s basketball program.
ERIN REIFSNYDER
Women's Lacrosse
Second Team
Erin Reifsnyder became only the seventh player in the history of Goucher’s women’s lacrosse program to earn all-conference honors all four seasons she played when she was a first-team midfielder on the 2014 All-Landmark Conference Women’s Lacrosse Team. All she did to get there is lead the Gophers in goals (44), assists (20) and ground balls (51), plus she was co-leader in caused turnovers (24). She completed her career with 160 goals.

First Team
Amanda Bercovici set a new school record by winning 21 singles matches last season while playing exclusively at No. 1 for Goucher’s women’s tennis team. In addition to being a first-team All-Landmark Conference honoree in both singles and doubles in 2013-14, she was also chosen Player of the Year in a vote by the conference’s head coaches.
KATHERINE CURRIER
Women's Cross Country
First Team
Katherine Currier is a repeat representative on the All-Goucher Team in 2013-14. By placing third at the Landmark Conference Women’s Cross Country Championships in 2013, she became the first female cross country runner in school history to earn first-team all-conference honors more than two times in her career. From there, she went on to place 28th out of 358 runners at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Championships, making her an all-region performer.

Men's Lacrosse
First Team
For his 21-goal, seven-assist performance as a mdifelder on Goucher’s men’s lacrosse team in 2014, Pierce Ingram was named a first-team All-Landmark Conference selection for the second year in a row and an honorable mention Division III All-American. He was the recipient of Goucher’s Coaches Award as the outstanding senior male student-athlete.

Men's Swimming
First Team
Morgan Richter repeated as the 200-yard butterfly champion and added the 100-yard butterfly title at the 2013-14 Landmark Conference Men’s Swimming & Diving Championships, making him only the second male swimmer in school history to win three conference championships during his career. About to begin his third season on the men’s swimming team, he currently owns the all-time fastest times in school history in six different events.

Equestrian
Captain First Team
In Joey Fink, Goucher’s riding program produced the 2013-14 high point rider in IHSA Zone IV Region I and the Zone IV reserve champion in open equitation over fences and open equitation on the flat. As one of the riders who represented Goucher in the Collegiate Cup Hunter Seat competition at the 2014 IHSA National Horse Show, he earned the highest score to claim first place in open flat, earning 10 points that helped the Gophers finish in sixth place overall.
JEN BUNTY
Equestrian
Coach of the Year
Under Jen Bunty’s direction, Goucher’s equestrian team was the high point college in IHSA Zone IV Region I for the third straight year and seventh time in the past 12 years in 2013-14. She also guided the Gophers to the IHSA Zone IV title and a sixth-place finish in the Collegiate Cup Hunter Seat competition at the IHSA National Horse Show. She did all this as a first-year head coach.
