Hinton-Ayodele Feted As Landmark Field Athlete of the Week
TOWSON, Md. - Carter Hinton-Ayodele (Bowie, Md./Bowie), a first-year member of the Goucher College women's track and field team, was honored as the Landmark Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.
This past weekend, Hinton-Ayodele finished fourth at the Alvernia Winter Invitational (second among Division III competitors) in the long jump with a mark of 5.18 meters. Hinton-Ayodele's mark is currently No. 2 in the Landmark Conference.
Hinton-Ayodele has set the program record in the triple jump this season twice, the most recent coming January 14 at Lebanon Valley with a mark of 11.66 meters. That mark is currently No. 11 in Division III.
Hinton-Ayodele is back in action Friday night at the University of Albany Invitatonal at Ocean Breeze State Park in Staten Island, N.Y.
