Coach's Daniel's Thoughts:
· "Disappointed in our effort at the start of the game and we never recovered defensively and allowed too many easy baskets and points to a very good Roanoke College team".
· "We are inexperienced but that is no excuse for a lack of effort and playing such poor defense giving up lay-ups and fast break points. I have to do a better job of preparing this team to understand that our defense must fuel our offense for us to be successful."
Next Up:
· The Gophers return to action tomorrow morning (Saturday, November 19) at 11 AM when they play Hollins University in their second game of the Jean Beamer Tip-Off Classic.
