Women’s Basketball Suffers a Tough Loss at Shenandoah
WINCHESTER, Va. - On Wednesday the women’s basketball team traveled to Shenandoah University for a non-conference matchup that ended in a 59-51 loss for the Gophers.

WINCHESTER, Va. - On Wednesday the women's basketball team traveled to Shenandoah University for a non-conference matchup that ended in a 59-51 loss for the Gophers.
Freshmen Anise Williams (West Palm Beach, Fla.) and Alayna McFadden (Silver Spring, Md.) led the team in points, scoring a combined 29 out of the total 51.
Williams put up 15 points in her 34 minutes of play with one three-pointer and three other field goals. Williams also went 6-10 from the line. McFadden racked up 14 points and played the full 40 minutes. She scored five field goals, two of which were three-pointers, and two free throws.
Senior Nicole Wolard (Tampa, Fla.) contributed ten points and twelve rebounds during her 34 minutes of play.
The Gophers will be back in action at home on December 15th at 3 PM when they welcome Rutgers-Newark.
