Women's Golf Takes Fourth at Riverhawk Invite
The Goucher College women’s golf team finished fourth in the 2017 Riverhawk Fall Invite held at the Susquehanna Country Club on Saturday.
SUSQUEHANNA, Pa. – The Goucher College women's golf team finished fourth in the 2017 Riverhawk Fall Invite held at the Susquehanna Country Club on Saturday.
First-year Emmie Starchvick (Jacksonville, Ore.) led the Gophers with a 92 in the single-day event. She finished tied third overall, only six strokes behind the daily leader.
Fellow first-year Lauren O'Leary (Potomac, Md.) was not far behind her teammate with a 96 – finishing with a 96 on the day. However, she was not included in the team scoring as she played as an individual.
First-years Christina Pevey (Post, Texas) and Emily Pochet (Royersford, Pa.) finished with the second and third best team scores on the day with a 105 and 107, respectively.
First-year Whitney Duran (Stamford, Texas) and junior Kianna Haskins (Waitsfield, Vt.) rounded out the Gopher scoring with Haskins ending the day at 116 and Duran at 119.
The Goucher women's golf team is back in action on October 3rd when they travel to Morristown, N.J. to take part in the Spring Brook Invite hosted by Drew University.
