Stull Named Landmark Conference Athlete Of The Week
BALTIMORE, Md. – Shannon Stull (Westminster, Md./Francis Scott Key), a member of the Goucher College women's lacrosse team, has been named a Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week.
With the unprecedented cancellation of spring sports due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Landmark will be recognizing an athlete from each member institution in each conference-sponsored spring sport for the remainder of the academic year. Honorees were nominated for recognition by their respective institution.
Stull played in all six games in 2020 before the rest of the season was cancelled, registering 14 goals and two assists for 16 points in her senior year. She tallied three matches with three+ goals and a five-goal performance in her last four games. She registered a season-high five goals in a 15-5 win against Neumann on March 7.
For his career, Stull has posted eight five+ goal performances, 24 games with at least three goals and 30 multigoal performances in her career. The senior, who notched a career-high nine tallies against Randolph on March 1, finished her career with 130 goals and 16 assists for 146 points in 52 career games.
Goucher finished the shortened season 4-2 including three-straight wins.
The Landmark Conference will honor seniors from men's lacrosse (Nick Patterson), men's and women's tennis (April 27), men's track and field (May 4) and women's track and field (May 11).
In addition, Goucher Athletics has a plan to honor each senior that had their career cut short by COVID-19 in the coming weeks and will also salute the senior classes of the sports that were able to have a senior day.
