Lady Gophers Split in Tri-Meet With Two Conference Teams
The Goucher women’s swim team moved its record to 3-3 as they came out on top against the Juniata Eagles, 150-83, but fell to the University of Scranton Royals, 140.5-63.5, this afternoon in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

SRANTON, PA- The Goucher women's swim team moved its record to 3-3 as they came out on top against the Juniata Eagles, 150-83, but fell to the University of Scranton Royals, 140.5-63.5, this afternoon in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Highlights:
· Freshman Isabelle Pardew (Towson, Md./Lock Raven), sophomore Ila Jackson (Columbia, Md./Homeschooled), sophomore Samantha Epworth (Sacramento, Ca./Bella Vista), and senior Elizabeth Hannifin (Denver, Co./East) grabbed 3rd place in the 400 Medley Relay (4:33.98).
· Freshman Camilla Civiello (North Yarmouth, ME/ Greely), took 2nd Place in the 1000 Free (12:16.94).
· Hannifin improved upon last week's time taking 3rd place in the 200 Free (2:08.21).
· Jackson was tied for second in her efforts in the 50 Freestyle (:26.47).
· Junior Rachel Keiffer (Graunda Hills, Ca./Reseda) swam to 2nd place in the 200 IM (2:32.55).
. Fellow junior Kyanna Cadwallader (Gainesville, Fl./ Gainesville), swam strong for her second place in the 100 Free (1:00.39) followed by her teammate Madeleine Chism (Erie, Co./ Centaurus) who nabbed 3rd (1:02.35).
· Pardew was the Gophers only 1st place finisher as she took the 100 Backstroke in 1:03.27).
· Hannifin had another improvement on her swim to second place in the 500 Free (5:53.63).
· Cadwallader had an impressive performance with a 2nd place finish in the 100 Breaststroke (1:16.86).
· Finishing in second place Civiello, Chism, Jackson, Hannifin touched in the 400 Freestyle Relay (3:57.75).
