The Goucher College women’s tennis team was recognized as a 2017 All-Academic Team while seven student-athletes were named 2017 Scholar Athletes.

Gophers Secure Win No. 4 in Final Match of 2015-16
STEVENSON, Md. — Down to its final opportunity to pick up a win during the spring portion of its 2015-16 schedule, Goucher was victorious in all six singles matches for the first time all season and that produced a 9-0 triumph over Stevenson.

Gophers Fall to Elizabethtown on Senior Day
TOWSON, Md. — Prior to Goucher's final home match of the 2015-16 campaign, seniors Kirsten Cianci (Bolton, Conn./Bolton) and Olivia Nono (Silver Spring, Md./Montgomery Blair) were recognized by head coach Sally Baum and the rest of their teammates for Senior Day. The Gophers suffered a 9-0 setback to the Blue Jays of Elizabethtown this afternoon.

BALTIMORE, Md. — Moving a home match indoors to the Bare Hills Racquet & Fitness Club because of the weather forecast unfortunately didn't change Goucher's fortunes. The Gophers dropped their eighth match in a row, the latest being tonight's Landmark Conference encounter with Scranton, which the Royals won 9-0.

Gophers Fall 9-0 in First of Weekend's Two Matches
BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Kristen Cianci (Bolton, Conn./Bolton) and Leigh Oehrig (Woodbine, Md./Glenelg) gave the opponent's No. 1 doubles team a run for its money today, but their 8-6 loss to Brittney Eady and Skyler Oliwa put Goucher in a 3-0 hole against Moravian. The Greyhounds went on to sweep the six singles matches and earn a 9-0 Landmark Conference victory over head coach Sally Baum's squad.
