- The team was scheduled to compete in the Collegeville Classic on January 19, but Goucher did not attend due to the weather and travel restrictions.
- It was the throwers that put up the most impressive performances at the River Hawks Opener on Nov. 30, specifically juniors Taylor Gunter and Darby Bauer. Gunter is currently ranked 1st in the Weight Throw and 2nd in Shot Put in the Landmark Conference, is ranked 2nd in the Weight Throw and 4th in Shot Put in the mid-east region, and 18th in NCAA Division III in the Weight Throw. Her longest throw on Friday night was the 3rd furthest in Goucher College history, behind two throws made by Hall of Famer Natalie Williams. Gunter's shot put was 11.19 meters, and her weight throw was 14.68 meters.
- Bauer is ranked 6th in the Landmark Conference in the Weight Throw and 12th in the mid-east region. His best throw was the second furthest in school history, just inches from school record holder Mark Renehan. Bauer's throw was a personal record and was measured at 12.72 meters.
- Another thrower, junior Brandon Julot, set two personal records in shot put and weight throw at the meet. Julot placed 9th in shot put with an 11.71-meter throw, and his weight throw measured 9.98 meters.
- In the Sprint Medley Relay the team of Kia Miller, Mia Taylor, Langston Henry, and Joseph Rhodenhiser placed 7th with a time of 4:23.39. Mia Taylor also placed 11th in the Men's 60 Meter Hurdles with a time of 10.35 seconds.Wrapping up top-ten finishes at the meet was freshman Sydney Smith who made her debut with a 10th place finish in Women's 60 Meters with a time of 8.73 meters.

THE UPCOMING SCHEDULE

- After Saturday's meet, Goucher has four meets left to prepare for the Landmark Conference Championships on February 23.
- The Gophers get a preview of the track when they travel to the SU Challenge on February at Susquehanna University, the home of of the Landmark Championships.
