GAME NOTES
- The Goucher women's volleyball team concludes its three-game homestand to start the season against Shenandoah on Wednesday
- The two teams will meet for the fifth time in the last six years
- The Hornets have won the last four meetings in that stretch while the last Gopher win was a 3-1 decision in 2006
- Goucher defeated Notre Dame 3-1 in the season opener on Friday and Penn State Brandywine 3-0 on Saturday to open the season 2-0 for the first time since 2006
- Shenandoah lost to Notre Dame 3-1 on Saturday
- With a win, the Gophers would continue its best start since 2006 when the squad won the first six matches of the season
- Rachel Chapman leads the team with 18 kills while Tes DeJaeger has a team-best 26 assists and Cat Hartley fuels the team with 29 digs
