Brown Dominates Ravens: Its A Good Thing Brown Plays In Baltimore And For The Goucher Gophers Volleyball Team In This One
BALTIMORE, Md. – It has been a rough couple of days for Ravens fans. They lost to the Browns on Sunday and Monday Ray Lewis had to drop out of "Dancing With The Stars" with turf toe. On Tuesday, a Brown dominated the Ravens, but this time it was Bianca Brown (North Brunswick, N.J./North Brunswick Township) and she plays for Baltimore's team to help Goucher College down the Rosemont College Ravens 3-0 in non-conference women's volleyball action on Tuesday.
Brown registered eight kills on nine attempts to post a .889 kill percentage. Rachel Chapman (Rochester, N.Y./Churchville Chili) added four kills to rank second on the team in kills for the night.
Izzy Kolb (Gorham, Maine/Gorham) had a team-high seven assists while Linnea Prudell (York, Pa./Central York) added five assists. Cat Hartley (Colorado Springs, Colo./Cheyenne Mountain) registered six digs and Nicole Kovach (New York, N.Y./Quest To Learn) added four digs in the win.
The Gophers won the match in 52 minutes thanks to winning the three sets 25-3, 25-6 and 25-12.
Goucher opens Landmark Conference play on Saturday at Elizabethtown. The Gophers will face Susquehanna at 1:30 p.m. and Moravian at 4 p.m.
EDITORS NOTE: The Cleveland Browns defeated the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, 40-25. It pains the editor to use the reference to the football game as a huge Baltimore Ravens fans, but sometimes it is good to bring current events into the story!
