TOWSON, Md. — The 2011-12 All-Goucher Team was unveiled during a ceremony on Beldon Field this afternoon.
The All-Goucher Team is an award made possible by generous gifts made by alumnae and alumni, parents and friends to the Blue & Gold Society, and it represents the 10 most distinguished student-athletes and the most outstanding coach at the school during an academic year as selected by a panel of head coaches and athletic administrators. In choosing the 10 student-athletes to make up the All-Goucher Team, the panel placed the top five on the first team and the remaining five on the second team. In addition to being on the first team, the top vote-getter is also the team's designated captain and was recognized as such during today's ceremony.
