Gophers Finish Round One of Cardinal Classic

HAGERSTOWN, Md. - The Goucher College Women's Golf Team traveled to the Black Rock Golf Course to compete at the Catholic Cardinal Classic. The Gophers currently sit last after round one with a score of 401(+113).

Katie West led the Gophers with a 90 after round one. This came after shooting a 46(+10) on the first half, and then a 44 on the back half of the course (+8). 

Senior Maddie Agrusti followed closely behind with a 91. She was leading after the first nine, shooting a 45(+9), and then a 46 on the back half (+10).

Jillian Spooner and Katelynn Roberts rounded out the team for the Gophers. Spooner finished with a 104 (50/54), while Roberts ended with a 116 (57/59). 

The Gophers compete in round two of the Catholic Cardinal Classic tomorrow.
