Gophers at Goucher/UMBC IHSA Show - 10 am | Goucher Stables
NOTES: Goucher hosts the final IHSA Zone IV, Region I regular season show Saturday along with UMBC...the Gophers wrapped up the Region I title, their 12th consecutive, at last weekend's show at the University of Maryland...Goucher will also be in action Sunday as it hosts the Zone IV, Region I Championships.

NOTES: Goucher goes for its fourth straight win on Saturday when it hosts Albright...the Gophers are coming off a 14-8 win over Neumann at home on Wednesday evening...Albright has already matched its win total from last season and fell 15-12 to Moravian on the road on Wednesday...the Gophers and Lions are meeting for just the second time and the first since 2014, a 14-7 Albright win in Reading.

NOTES: Goucher faces its second ODAC opponent of the season when it travels to Bridgewater...the Gophers were edged by Wilson 16-15 on Wednesday afternoon...Bridgewater, which plays its home opener on Saturday, is 2-2 following a 14-7 loss at McDaniel on Thursday...the Eagles hold a 2-1 lead in the all time series and have won the last two, including an 18-4 win at Beldon Field last season.

NOTES: Tanise Thornton-Fillyaw goes for a national championship Saturday afternoon when she competes in the 800-meter final at nationals...she lowered her own school and Landmark Conference record in the prelims Friday, running 2:10.18 to place second in her heat...Thornton-Fillyaw recorded the fourth-fastest time in the preliminaries...the eight qualifiers in Saturday's final were separated by 1.72 seconds in the prelims.
