Bio

Thomas Till is into his second decade as the head coach of Goucher’s swimming programs. Since his arrival at the school, his duties have expanded to include those associated with being the Aquatics Director and Assistant Director of Athletics. Extended from his day-to-day duties has a head coach, Till manages payroll operations, academic support, and acts as the liaison between Goucher College athletics and admissions.

As a head coach, Till has overseen the growth of countless CAC and Landmark Conference champions. Most recently, he traveled with Morgan Richter '16 to the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships where the butterflyer placed 8th in the 200 butterfly, earning All-American Designation. 

Till,  also served on the NCAA Championships Committee as the chairman from 2008-2010.

Till, who twice was named Women’s Swimming Coach of the Year while Goucher was a member of the Capital Athletic Conference, was a highly decorated swimmer and 8-time All-American at The College of New Jersey and was inducted into that school’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 2008.

Following his graduation in 1995, Till remained at TCNJ to help coach the swimming teams and work toward his masters degree. He later was an Assistant Coach at Florida Atlantic University.

Coach Till, his daughter Madeline, and son Sam, reside in Baltimore.
