Shoop Places First in Intermediate Fences at Tournament of Champions Holiday Classic
WESTERVILLE, Ohio - Junior Makaylin Shoop (Davidsonville, Md./South River) placed first in intermediate fences as the Goucher College equestrian team competed at the Tournament of Champions Holiday Classic hosted by Otterbein University on Saturday.
Junior Cole Jackson (Denver, Colo./East) placed fourth in open flat and sixth overall for the High Collegiate Medal.
Sophomore Cordelia Edwards (Los Angeles, Calif./Immaculate Heart) placed fourth for the Low Collegiate Medal.
Sophomore Kristen Wilhelm (Columbia, Md./Liberty) was second in the novice flat competition.
The Goucher College equestrian program returns to action on Saturday, January 29 when it competes in the Tournament of Champions Winter Classic hosted by Savannah College of Art and Design.
