Equestrian Earns Reserve Champion at George Mason
NOKESVILLE, Va. - The Goucher College equestrian team opened International Horse Show Association (IHSA) competition on Saturday at the George Mason IHSA Show at South Run Riding School. The Gophers finished as Reserve Champion with 32 points, one point behind host George Mason.
Cole Jackson (Denver, Colo./East) finished first in open flat, while Juliette Colas (Paris, France/Ecole Planchat) was first in limit flat. Morgan Kingsbury (Wentworth, N.H./Plymouth Regional) placed first in intro flat.
Jacob Connell (Ellicott City, Md./Mt. Hebron) was second in limit fences. Lexi Mason (Lothian, Md./Southern) recorded a second place finish in novice flat.
Goucher is back in action on Saturday at the American University IHSA Show at Springhill Stables in Burtonsville, Md. Goucher hosts its first show of the season the following Saturday, October 22.
