Equestrian Takes High Point Honors for Sixth Straight IHSA Show
CHEVY CHASE, Md. - The Goucher College equestrian team was the High Point team for its sixth straight IHSA show on Sunday, taking top honors as the show hosted by the University of Maryland at Meadowbrook Stables on Sunday. The Gophers finished with 40 points, while reserve high point team was host Maryland with 32.
Cole Jackson (Denver, Colo./East) tied for High Point rider as he finished first in Open Flat and second in Open Fences. Kellen Sullivan (Hampton, Va./Donald Sullivan) took second in Intermediate Fences and third in Intermediate Flat.
Cordelia Edwards (Los Angeles, Calif./Immaculate Heart) took first in Limit Flat, while Celeste Fazioli (Seabrook, Texas/Clear Falls) was third in Limit Flat.
Chloe Perkins (St. Thomas, USVI / Antilles School) placed first in Pre-Novice Flat, with Lily L'Oiseau (Hamilton, N.J./The Hun School) taking second in Intro Flat.
Goucher is back in action Saturday, March 4 as it hosts its third IHSA show of the season.
