TOWSON, Md. - Six different players scored as visiting University of Scranton eased past Goucher College 10-0 in Landmark College field hockey play Tuesday evening at Beldon Field.
- Scranton (9-3, 4- Landmark) generated a pair of penalty corners in the first minute of the game.
- Goucher (2-10, 0-5) goalie Julia Foster (Pylesville, Md./North Harford) made her first save in the third minute.
- Elle Collins scored Scranton's first goal at the 5:57 mark.
- The Royals scored three more times to open a 4-0 lead after one quarter.
- Foster made six saves in the opening frame.
- Maeve Kenny scored with just under five minutes left in the half to make it 5-0.
- The Royals tacked on another goal with 2:03 on the clock.
- Katie Redding had the lone goal of the third quarter 9:50 into the second half.
- Scranton tacked on three goals in the final two minutes of the contest, with Redding completing a hat trick.
- Scranton took 39 shots and 17 penalty corners in the contest.
- Foster made 13 saves, her fourth-double digit save outing of the season.
- Goucher wraps up its home slate on Saturday when it hosts Elizabethtown in a 1 pm Landmark Conference contest at Beldon Field.
