BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Goucher College field hockey team closed out its season with a 6-0 loss at Moravian University at John Makuvek Field Wednesday evening in Landmark Conference action.
Moravian (8-8, 6-3 Landmark) got on the board 4:24 into the contest on a Hanna Leto goal. The Greyhounds led 1-0 after one quarter, 4-0 at halftime and tacked on two goals in the fourth quarter. Leto and Gia Ambrosino each had two goals for Moravian.
Goucher (7-10, 1-8) goalie Katie Bloom recorded 10 saves, her third straight double-digit save performance and eighth of the season. Moravian held a 24-2 shot advantage and took 18 penalty corners to the Gophers' three.
Goucher's seven wins mark a five-win improvement from 2022 under first year head coach E.A. Jackson.
