the 2006-07 PrestoSports/Pride of Maryland All-Maryland Men's
Basketball Team, which was unveiled today.
Eight of the nine Division III men's basketball programs in
Maryland placed at least one student-athlete on the squad, which
was chosen by a panel of media members from across the state. In
addition, eight of the 10 players who make up the team hail from
Maryland.

PrestoSports Pride of Maryland Player of the Year. Joining him on
the All-Maryland first team are senior forward Joey Breslin from
Washington (Md.), senior center Matt Griffin from Johns Hopkins,
Sophomore guard Ryan Junghans from Hood and graduate guard Steven

In addition to Russo, the second team consists of sophmore guard
Ryan Brandenburg from McDaniel, junior guard Tyson Lesesne from St.

Russo was the Gophers' leading scorer in 2006-07, averaging 18.8
