Landmark Recognizes Noble as Week's Top Performer

MADISON, N.J. — Goucher's Alex Noble (Clinton, Md./Surrattsville) was selected Men's Basketball Player of the Week in the Landmark Conference for the week of Dec. 19-25, a conference official announced this morning.
The freshman guard earned the honor with his 33-point, 10-rebound performance in a 91-87 victory over Bayamon Central. In addition to recording the first double-double of his young career, Noble furnished the Gophers with five assists and four steals while playing a total of 27 minutes.
The 33 points ranks as the second-most in a game by a freshman in the history of Goucher's men's basketball program.
Noble is now averaging 17.8 points per game this season.
