Landmark Recognizes Harris as Week's Top Performer

Goucher's Leading Scorer in 2012-13 at 15.4 Points Per Game

TOWSON, Md. — The Landmark Conference named its Players of the Week for Dec. 31-Jan. 6 today and, for the sport of men's basketball, that honor went to Goucher's Richard Harris (Clinton, Md./Surrattsville).

In Saturday's 66-62 victory over Moravian that elevated head coach Leonard Trevino's squad into a tie with Catholic for first place in the Landmark Conference, Harris supplied the Gophers with 22 points, plus he was also credited with four rebounds, three assists and a steal. He's been Goucher's leading scorer in seven of the 12 games played so far in 2012-13 and is averaging 15.4 points per contest.

It was the third time this season that Harris has tallied at least 20 points in a game.
