Seeking revenge for a 66-62 defeat on Jan. 5, Moravian (10-8, 3-5 Landmark) came out hot, staking a claim to the game early.
Goucher (5-13. 3-5 Landmark) responded to the first two baskets of the game from Moravian, first with Trae Lindsay (Baltimore, Md./Patapsco) layup, then with a Mico James (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis) three, each tying the game.
A breaking the 5-5 deadlock, Moravian scored the game's next five points, taking the lead for good.
Moravian used a 20-3 run to pull away, including a stretch of scoring ten straight, giving the team a comfortable cushion.
At the half, the Greyhounds were 9-for-13 from long range. They scored 40 points off 26 Goucher turnovers, while the Gophers only scored five points off of 16 turnovers.
Lindsay finished with 19 points and 12 rebounds, good for his second double-double of the year.
D.J. Strayhorn led all scorers with 25 after scoring 24 in the first meeting. He was honored before the game after scoring his 1,000th career point earlier this week.
