Field Hockey’s Caroline Doll and Men’s Basketball’s Angad Ahluwalia Named Scholar-Athletes Of The Week
Every week in the fall semester, Goucher Athletics names two Scholar-Athletes of the Week for their achievements in the classroom. This week's features are field hockey senior, Caroline Doll (York, Pa. / Dallastown Area) and men's basketball junior, Angad Ahluwalia (Philadelphia, Pa. / Council Rock North).
Doll, an elementary education major, was part of the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll in 2018-19 and 2019-20. The defender made her Goucher debut on September 1, 2017, against St. Mary's. She went on to appear in 15 games, including two starts and seven shots. Doll started 15 games during her sophomore campaign and registered two goals on 18 shots. In the 2019 season, the York native recorded a goal against Ferrum on September 8 and had 14 starts and 15 appearances.
Ahluwalia, a double major in economics and sociology, gained a spot on the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll in 2019-20. He made his collegiate debut against Wilson on November 10, 2018. Later that season, Ahluwalia recorded two points against Wittenberg on November 16 and against Christendom on December 8. During his sophomore season, the Philly native appeared in nine games, scoring points in five. He secured a season-high three points against Oglethorpe on December 20, 2019.
