James Dugan Named to USILA Division III Team of the Week
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Goucher College men's lacrosse graduate student midfielder James Dugan was named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division III Team of the Week for March 4, it was announced on Tuesday afternoon. Just 10 student-athletes from across Division III are selected to the team each week.
Dugan was named the Landmark Conference Offensive Athlete of the Week earlier this week.
Dugan registered nine goals and an assist in a 2-0 week for the Gophers as Goucher moved to 3-1 for the first time since 2016. He scored seven goals in Saturday's 14-11 win at Lebanon Valley. Earlier in the week, Dugan notched two goals and an assist in a 9-8 win at Hood.
A graduate of Towson High School, Dugan has totaled 13 goals and three assists for a team-high 16 points over the first four games of the season.
Goucher opens up a four-game homestand on Wednesday when it hosts Neumann University in a 7 pm contest at Beldon Field.
