Bio
Austin Evans is in his second season as an assistant coach with the Goucher men’s lacrosse team in 2024. Coach Evans is the recruiting coordinator and runs the substitution box for the Gophers, as well assisting with offensive development.
Evans earned his bachelor's degree while playing lacrosse at Palm Beach Atlantic University. At Palm Beach Atlantic, Austin was a starting attackman as well as a captain for the Sailfish, collecting 68 points in 29 career games.
Before PBA, Austin earned his associates of arts degree from CCBC Essex in Baltimore. During his time at CCBC Essex, Austin was a midfielder for the Knights, producing 44 points in 28 games.
Evans grew up in Linthicum Maryland. He attended North County High School in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
