MADISON, N.J. - Goucher had a pair of student-athletes recognized today by the Landmark Conference for their performances during the week ending Oct. 28.
Julien Greco (Shutesbury, MA/St. George's School), who tallied four goals and picked up an assist for a total of nine points in the three games the Gophers played last week, was named men's soccer's Offensive Player of the Week in the Landmark Conference. He was credited with the game-winning goal in the 3-1 victory over Gwynedd-Mercy on Oct. 24 and also the 3-2 triumph over Juniata three days later.
The sophomore forward led the Gophers in goals (8) and points (20) this season.
Barbara Koziel (Holland Twp., NJ/Delaware Valley Regional) was chosen Defensive Player of the Week for the sport of field hockey in the Landmark Conference after making two defensive saves in both of the Gophers' games last week. One of three freshmen to start every game so far this season, she leads the team in defensive saves with seven.
