Dunda Submits Resignation Following Nine Seasons
TOWSON, Md. After roaming the sidelines for the past nine seasons as Goucher College's head men's soccer coach, Gary Dunda has submitted his resignation. In it, he informed the school's athletic administration that he is leaving to become the head coach at Geneva College.

Landmark Conference Issues Academic Honor Roll

The Landmark Conference, which is in its third year of competition and is comprised of eight like-minded institutions in the mid-Atlantic region, today recognized 369 student-athletes for their academic accomplishments by placing them on the on the 2009 Fall Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll. Mariners Avoid OT, Possible Upset by Gophers
TOWSON, Md. Goucher was less than a minute from taking Merchant Marine, which is still in contention for the No. 1 seed in the upcoming Landmark Conference postseason tournament, into overtime when Benjamin Inouye scored his second goal of the contest to lift the Mariners past the Gophers, 2-1, this afternoon on Beldon Field.

Cardinals Keep Gophers from First Landmark Victory
TOWSON, Md. Goucher scored a goal in the 20th minute tonight to ease the sting of being down 1-0 thanks to a penalty kick that was awarded to Catholic just 3:24 into the Landmark Conference contest. The two teams remained deadlocked at 1-1 more than 20 minutes into the second half before an unassisted goal by Michael DiMarco broke the tie and the Cardinals went on to record a 2-1 victory.

Gophers Fall Behind Early in 3-0 Loss to Greyhounds
BETHLEHEM, Pa. It was wet, windy and cold and less than four minutes in, Goucher was down, 1-0. It didn't get any better the rest of the way for the Gophers, who were beaten today, 3-0, by Moravian in a Landmark Conference game played on a synthetic turf field at Liberty High School.

TOWSON, Md. It took Goucher less than five minutes to get on the scoreboard tonight against Ursinus, but that also turned out to be the Gophers' only goal of the contest as they suffered a 2-1 loss to Ursinus on Beldon Field.

Ungar, Miller Preside Over Dedication Ceremonies
TOWSON, Md. — Goucher's intercollegiate athletic teams, along with many of the institution's club and intramural sports programs, have been practicing and playing on the new synthetic turf and under the lights at Beldon Field for more than a month, and today many of the people that made these improvements possible were recognized at halftime of a Landmark Conference women's soccer game between the Gophers and Susquehanna.
