Junior Midfielder Tallies Four Goals in Pair of Victories

MADISON, N.J. — Goucher's Elijah Lais (Grantsville, Md./Northern Garrett) was recognized today as the Men's Soccer Player of the Week in the Landmark Conference for Sept. 20-26.

Lais tallied four goals in the three games the Gophers played during that seven-day period, starting with all three in a 3-1 triumph over Lancaster Bible. He also produced the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Albright.

Through the first 10 games of the season, the junior midfielder has eight goals and three assists for a conference-leading total of 19 points.
