IMMACULATA, Pa. - Sophomore Andres Aristimuno scored his second goal of the season as the Goucher College men's soccer team played to a 1-1 tie with Immaculata University at Draper Walsh Stadium Saturday afternoon.
- Goucher (5-0-1) had four shots in the game's first 10 minutes, including two on goal by Michael Adekanmbi.
- Immaculata (0-2-3) had its first shot just past the 10-minute mark that was stopped by Gopher keeper Ale Sternini.
- Just past the midway mark, Aristimuno scored to put the guests on top 1-0.
- Aristimuno took a long pass from Jonathan Adima and beat Mighty Mac goalkeeper Ryan Straub low.
- Immaculata had a barrage with three shots in the 38th minute including one that was saved by Sternini.
- Josh Fonder scored for the hosts with 2:38 left to tie the game 1-1.
- Adekanmbi had a pair of shots saved by Straub two minutes into the half.
- Just over a minute later Sternini saved an Immaculata bid.
- Sternini made a save on a long shot in the game's final seconds.
- Both teams had 13 shots on the afternoon, with the Mighty Macs taking 10 of the game's 12 corner kicks.
