TOWSON, Md. - Goucher College and the University of Scranton battled to a 0-0 Landmark Conference men's soccer stalemate Saturday afternoon at Beldon Field.
- Goucher (6-3-2, 1-2-1 Landmark) had the game's first chance five minutes into the game as a shot by Jeremiah Odubade was saved by Scranton (6-2-3, 0-2-2 Landmark) keeper Charline Smith.
- A header by the Royals' Ciaran Corr 14 minutes in sailed wide.
- Gopher goalie Ale Sternini made his first save just over a minute later.
- Sternini made two more saves in the half, the second coming with three minutes left in the half.
- Corr had a bid on goal a minute in that Sternini turned aside.
- Yaya Diabagate had a shot blocked in the 56th minute.
- Odubade had a shot saved with 28 minutes left.
- Smith made another save on a shot by Bobby Beringer with 16 minutes left.
- Sternini made a pair of saves with the second coming with nine minutes to go.
- Michael Adekanmbi had a shot turned aside by Smith with 7:23 on the clock.
- Scranton took 21 shots to Goucher's eight and had nine of the game's 12 corner kicks.
