Everyone on Roster Contributes to Pair of 9-0 Wins

Seth Hoesman (Ellicott City, Md./Howard) was the only player who was in Kincaid's singles lineup in both matches. He was at No. 1 when he posted a 6-2, 6-3 win over Alex Sexton from Hood and at No. 2 when he turned back York's Devin Lehigh 6-1, 6-3. Jack Hodges (London, England / Shrewsbury School) manned the No. 1 spot for the Gophers when they battled the Spartans (2-2) and he posted a 6-2, 7-5 triumph over Sam Innerst.
Against the Blazers (1-5), Chad Resnik (Miami, Fla./Pinecrest School) picked up the win at No. 2, defeating Josh Sexton 6-2, 6-2, Bardia Anvari (Clarksville, Md./Mount St. Joseph) knocked off Richard Hershey 6-2, 4-6, 1-0 (10-6) at No. 3 and Dylan Margolis (Pikesville, Md./GW Carver Center for Arts and Technology) came out on top of Jordan Hahn 6-4, 6-4 at No. 4.
Hoesman and Hodges were paired together at first doubles and responded with an 8-2 win over Alex and Josh Sexton. The No. 2 doubles team for Goucher was made up of William Felinski (Philadelphia, Pa./Science Leadership Academy) and Brazeau, who combined for a 9-7 victory over Hershey and Hahn.
The Gophers (3-0 won all six singles matches against York in straight sets. Elliot Diehl (York, Pa./York Suburban) polished off Zach Hanson 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3, Midori Fujitani (Tokyo, Japan/International School Bangkok) handed Aaron Marti a 6-3, 6-3 setback at No. 4, Josh Goldberg (Centreville, Md./Queen Anne's County) topped Rory Handlin 6-4, 6-4 at No. 5 and Britt Shortle (Lake Mary, Fla./Trinity Preparatory School), competing at No. 6, recorded a 6-1, 6-3 victory over C.J. Weigle.
Josiah Meekins (Trenton, N.J./Princeton Day School) contributed to the win over the Spartans by teaming up with Goldberg for an 8-3 victory over Marti and Weigle at third singles.
Today's matches were the final ones during the fall portion of Goucher's 2015-16 schedule.
