Brian Kane Repeats as Landmark Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week

TOWSON, Md. - For the second straight week and third time this season, Goucher College senior Brian Kane (Philadelphia, Pa./Friends Select) was named the Landmark Conference Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week.

Kane finished with a 3-0 doubles record and a 2-1 singles mark as the Gophers improved their record to 3-0 in the Landmark Conference.  He went 3-0 at No. 1 doubles with classmate Omosesan Adebamgbe (Philadelphia, Pa./Lower Merion), including wins over conference foes Elizabethtown and Moravian.  In singles play, Kane was 2-0 and did not drop a game at No. 1 singles, posting 6-0, 6-0 wins over the Blue Jays and Greyhounds.

The Goucher men's tennis team returns to action Wednesday, traveling to Gettysburg for a 4 pm non-conference match.
