WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - The Goucher College men's tennis team remained unbeaten in Landmark Conference play with a 9-0 win at Lycoming College at Brandon Park Saturday afternoon.
- The Gophers (7-7, 4-0 Landmark) did not drop a game in singles to Lycoming (3-4, 0-3).
- Gabe Naftoly and Calis Nguyen were 8-0 winners at No. 1.
- Benedikt Rummel and George King prevailed 8-0 at No. 2.
- The Warriors forfeited No. 3 doubles.
- Goucher dropped four games in five singles matches.
- Nguyen was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at No. 3, while Ethan Katz posted a 6-0, 6-0 triumph at No. 5.
- Naftoly, Rummel and Unai Laguardia Alvarez all won their singles tilts.
- The Warriors also forfeited sixth singles.
- Goucher won its third straight match and upped its record to 4-0 in conference play.
- Rummel won his fifth straight singles match while Naftoly extended his singles streak to three straight wins.
- Goucher returns to action at home Wednesday when it hosts Division II Kutztown in a 3 pm match at the Schroedl Tennis Center.
