Men's And Women's Swimming All-Decade Teams Announced
BALTIMORE, Md. - After a week of online voting, Goucher Athletics has announced the Men's and Women's Swimming All-Decade Teams. We would like to thank everyone that voted! Congratulations to the members of the 2010s Goucher College Men's Swimming All-Decade Team and the 2010s Goucher College Women's Swimming All-Decade Team.
To be eligible for the All-Decade Team, a student-athlete must have competed for at least one season between the 2010 and 2019 seasons. They also must be a graduate or still enrolled at Goucher College. In addition, only the statistics during the years of 2010 and 2019 are eligible so statistics that occur before the year 2010 or after the year 2019 do not count toward the All-Decade team vote.

MEN'S SWIMMING ALL-DECADE TEAM
You can talk about the 2010s decade without the Richter brothers. Colin and Morgan Richter, natives of Cleburne, Texas, are two of the best swimmers in the decade and probably in program history. They competed together from 2012 to 2016 for the Blue and Gold.
Colin, who is a seven time medalist and five-time all-conference performer, won the 200 IM in his senior year (1:53.15), placed second (1:53.64) in the event as a junior and finished third in the 200 IM (1:57.05) in his first year in Baltimore. He finished second in the 200 back as a junior (1:53.99) and as a senior (1:54.05) while also earning a bronze medal in the 100 back (53.97) and the 200 back (1:57.64) in his freshman campaign. Colin has the best times in program history in the 100 back (52.37, 2016), 200 back (1:53.99, 2015), 200 IM (1:53.15, 2016) and the 400 IM (4:10.56, 2016), and he holds Top-10 times in the 50 free (21.32, 2016) and 100 free (47.93, 2015).
Morgan, who is a nine-time All-Landmark Conference first-team performer, is one of the best butterfly swimmers in Landmark Conference history with seven first-place finishes in his career. He won the 200 fly (1:59.64) as a freshman and then swept the 100 and 200 fly in his final three seasons (2014 – 100 fly, 51.92; 200 fly, 1:54.23 | 2015 – 100 fly, 50.25; 200 fly, 1:51.73 | 2016 – 100 fly, 50.16; 200 fly, 1:49.74). He also won the 500 free in 2015 (4:38.44) and 2016 (4:40.76) at the championships. In his senior year, he became an All-American after finishing eighth in the NCAA Division III Championships with a time of 1:50.59 and also competed in the 200 fly on the national stage with a 22nd-place standing (49.48). Morgan, who also swam in two other "A" finals and a "B" final in his career, is the program record holder for times in the 500 free (4:38.44, 2015), the 1000 free (10:06.13, 2016), the 1650 free (17:01.27, 2014) and holds Top-10 times in the 100 free (47.23, 2016) and 400 IM (4:39.25, 2014). He was also named to the Landmark Conference Women's Swimming All-Decade Team in 2017.
Davis, a Wilmington, Del., native, swam for the Gophers from 2011 to 2015 and made a name for himself in the sprint freestyle. He capped off his career by winning the 50 free (20.77) and the 100 free (46.55) at the 2015 Landmark Conference Championships. Davis also earned a bronze medal in the 50 free (21.64) as a junior and swam in another "A" final and a "B" final in his career. He also holds the top time in program history for both the 50 free (20.69, 2015) and the 100 free (46.55, 2015). Davis was also named to the Landmark Conference Women's Swimming All-Decade Team in 2017.
McFadden, a Malvern, Pa., native, jumped in the pool at the start of the decade from 2009 to 2013 for the Blue and Gold. He ranks in the Top-10 times in the 50 free (22.10, 2012), the 100 free (48.77, 2011) and the 200 free (1:49.40, 2012). McFadden swam in three "A" finals and five "B" finals in his career. He notched his best championships in his junior campaign after finishing seventh in the 200 free (1:49.79) and eighth in the 50 free (22.27). He also holds a top time in the 100 breast (1:03.67) and notched a ninth-place standing in the event as a freshman to post that top time. He also swam in three "B" finals at the championships in his career in the breaststroke.
Furst, a North Reading, Mass., native, competed for Goucher in the water from 2014 to 2018. He holds Top-10 times in the 500 free (4:59.00, 2016), 1000 free (10:22.44, 2018) and the 1650 free (17:11.85, 2018). He finished eighth in the 1650 free (17:14.56) at the 2016 championships and also placed ninth in the event as a junior (17:42.34) and a senior (17:11.85). He also notched two "B" final results in the 200 back in his career.
Williams, an Andover, N.J., native, won four medals in the pool for the Gophers from 2009 to 2012. He earned All-Landmark Conference second-team honors at the 2010 championships in the 100 back (55.33) and also earned a bronze that year in the 200 back (1:59.99). He would then finish second in the 500 free (4:47.92), and third in both the 100 back (53.71) and 200 back (1:56.64) the following year. He holds Top-10 times in the 100 back (53:33, 2011), 200 back (1:56.64, 2011), 100 free (48.93, 2011) and the 500 free (4:47.92, 2011).
Nelson, a Diranesburg, N.Y., native, took to the Goucher water from 2012 to 2016 and holds Top-10 times in the 100 breast (59.56, 2016), 200 breast (2:11.56, 2015) and 200 IM (2:01.92, 2016). He participated in the "A" final in the 100 or 200 breast four times in his final two campaigns while swimming in a "B" final in those events four times in his first two seasons in Baltimore. Nelson notched his best finishes at the conference championships in his senior year with a fifth-place standing in the 200 breast (2:14.42) and a sixth-place finish in the 100 breast (59.76).
Shalamanov, a Velingrad, Bulgaria, native, finished in the Top-5 at the Landmark Conference Championships four times in his career for the Gophers from 2009 to 2012. He earned all-conference honors and a silver medal with a second-place standing in the 100 breast (58:93) at the 2011 league meet. Shalamanov just missed medaling in the 100 free (47.97) in 2010 and in the 200 breast (2:12.49) after registering fourth-place finishes. He holds Top-10 times in the 100 breast (58.93, 2011), 200 breast (2:12, 2011), 50 free (21.99, 2011), 100 free (47.97, 2010) and 200 free (1:46.91, 2009).
MacConvery, a Lilburn, Ga., native, finished up his collegiate career in 2019-20 and had success for the Gophers in the final three seasons in the decade. He reached the "A" final of the 200 fly and finished eighth at the championships in 2017 (2:05.48) and 2019 (2:05.65) while also swimming in a couple of "B" finals in the fly his career. MacConvery swam in an "A" final and two "B" finals in the IM, and one "B" final in the breast in the first three years of his career. He holds a Top-10 time in the 200 IM (2:01.92, 2016).
WOMEN'S SWIMMING ALL-DECADE TEAM
Hannifin, a Denver, Colo., native, competed in the water for the Gophers from 2014 to 2017, and she holds top times in the 50 free (25.51, 2016), 100 free (56.14, 2016) and 200 free (2:03.59, 2015). She participated in the "A" Final at the Landmark Conference and finished eighth in the 100 free (56.17) in her junior year and also notched a 10th-place standing in the 200 free (2:03.78) at those championships.
Hogstrom, a Killington, Vt., native, only had one season in the decade, but helped start the decade off with a bang with three medals at the 2010 Landmark Conference Championships. She won both the 100 free (53.45) and the 200 free (1:58.03) and was also on the medal stand with a third-place standing in the 50 free (24.85). In addition, Hogstrom holds the program-record time in the 100 free (53.42, 2010) and the 200 free (1:58.03) while ranking second in the 50 free (24.48, 2010). Hogstrom was also named to the Landmark Conference Women's Swimming All-Decade Team in 2017.
Regpoulos, a Fitchburg, Mass., native, loved to spend time in the water from 2014 to 2018 for the Blue and Gold. She was on the medal stand five times in her career including earning four All-Landmark Conference second-team honors. She finished second in the 500 free (5:15.70) and the 1650 free (18:12.03) in her freshman year and then finished second in the 1650 free in her sophomore (18:05.18) and junior (18:08.96) campaigns. She also finished third in the 500 free (5:17.76) in her junior season. Regpoulos has the fastest time in program history in the 500 free (5:15.70, 2015), 1650 free (18:02.58, 2015) and 1000 free (10:52.94, 2016). She also has three Top-9 standings at the conference championships in the 200 free and holds the second-fastest mark (1:58.03, 2017) in that event in program record.
Phillipson-Weiner, a Merion, Pa., native, won four medals for the Blue and Gold from 2009 to 2011 in her final two collegiate seasons. She posted a second-place finish in the 500 free (5:21.45) to earn a silver medal and all-conference second-team recognition while garnering a bronze medal in the 1650 free (18:47.76) in her junior campaign. Phillipson-Weiner notched a pair of bronze medals in the 400 IM in her junior (5:01.88) and senior (4:45.22) seasons. She also participated in two "B" finals in the distance freestyle. She holds Top-10 times in the 500 free (5:21.45, 2010), 1000 free (11:25.70, 2009), 1650 free (18:47.76, 2010) and the 400 IM (4:56.22, 2011).
Brenton, a Lancaster, Pa., native, dived into the pool for the Gophers from 2015 to 2018. She competed in the "B" final in the 100 and 200 back events in each of her four seasons in Baltimore. Brenton had her best standing at the championships in her freshman campaign, finishing 10th in the 100 back (1:03.85) and 11th in the 200 back (2:20.30). She also holds Top-10 times in the 100 back (1:03.85, 2016) and the 200 back (2:19.86, 2016).
Brower, a Glen Ridge, N.J., native, participated in seven "B" finals at the championships for the Gophers from 2011 to 2015 in the backstroke and IM. She notched her best career finish with a ninth-place standing in the 200 back (2:21.69) and a 10-place finish in the 200 IM (5:04.64) in her junior season. She holds a Top-10 time in the 200 back (2:21.20, 2014).
Cadwallader, a Gainesville, Fla., native, donned the Goucher colors from 2014 to 2018. She swam in a pair of "A" finals in her junior year in the breaststroke, finishing seventh in the 100 breast (1:11.52) and eighth in the 200 breast (2:28.60). She also swam in the "B" final of the breaststroke four times and holds a Top-10 time in the 100 breast for her swim at the conference meet in 2017. Cadwallander, who participated in the "B" final twice in her career in the 50 free, holds a Top-10 time in team history in that event (25.82).
Jackson, a Columbia, Md., native, swam for Goucher from 2015 to 2019 and holds Top-10 times in the 100 breast (1:11.77, 2016) and the 200 breast (2:36.95, 2018). She also swam in two "A" finals and one "B" final at the Landmark Conference Championships in her career. She finished seventh at the 2016 conference meet in the 100 breast (1:11.77) and eighth at the 2018 championships in the 200 breast (2:39.51). Jackson also had four swims in the "A" final for sprint free events including a career-best fourth-place finish in the 100 free (55.29) as a freshman. She also ranks in the Top-10 in program history in the 50 free (24.92, 2017) and the 100 free (54.75, 2016).
Epworth, a Fair Oaks, Calif., native swam for the Gophers from 2015 to 2019. She swam in a pair of "B" finals in the fly, finishing 12th in the 200 fly (2:32.13) and 15th in the 100 fly (1:04.82).
Patterson, a Dallas, Texas, native, was a member of the women's swimming team from 2012 to 2016. She registered her best finish in her final campaign with a 20th-place finish in the 100 fly (1:08.85).
Craver, a Spring Grove, Pa., native, jumped in the water from 2011 to 2015 for the Blue and Gold. She won three medals in her career, including earning All-Landmark Conference second-team honors as a junior with her second-place standing in the 400 IM (4:47.31). She also finished third in both the 200 IM (2:15.99) in her freshman year and the 400 IM (4:48.15) in her senior season while participating in four other IM "A" finals at the conference meet in her career. Craver also holds Top-10 times in the 200 IM (2:13.82, 2015), 400 IM (4:47.31, 2014), 50 free (25.68, 2014), 100 free (55.55, 2015), 200 free (2:04.56, 2011), 100 breast (1:12.72, 2012) and the 200 breast (2:36.68, 2012). She swam in an "A" final and two "B" finals in her career in the breaststroke while finishing eighth in the 200 breast (2:37.47) in her freshman year. In the freestyle, Craver was in an "A" final and a "B" final with an eighth-place standing in the 100 free (56.77) marking her best finish in the stroke.
Kieffer, a Granda Hills, Calif., native, was a swimmer in Baltimore from 2014 to 2018. She holds top times in program history in the 200 IM (2:20.24, 2016) and the 400 IM (5:00.04, 2014). Kieffer swam in four "B" finals in her career at the Landmark Conference Championships, including posting a career-best ninth-place finish in the 400 IM (5:00.04) in her sophomore campaign. She also swam in a pair of "B" finals in the 100 and 200 back events in her freshman season.
