Swimming Prepares for Landmark Championships This Weekend
LANDMARK CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL | WATCH | FULL EVENT SCHEDULE
TOWSON, Md. - The Goucher men's and women's swimming teams travel to the Germantown (Md.) Indoor Swim Center for the 2023 Landmark Conference Swim and Dive Championships this weekend. The events will start on Friday February 17th, and finish up Sunday the 19th. Women's events will take place first on the schedule, followed by the men's events.
The Gopher men were selected sixth in the conference's pre-championship poll, while the women were picked seventh.
The Goucher men are led by seniors Richie Bialik (367.55) and Liam McDonald (227.45). The Gophers will also look to first years Ben Graff and Christian Houck for some points. Graff ranks 58th in the conference among individuals, the highest of any of the Gopher men. Graff has the Gophers' fastest time in nine separate events.

Five Goucher women have over 400 points on the year in the swimcloud.com rankings. Ella Robinson (494.65), Kelci Wood (439.10) Darcy McFarland (438.90) Olivia Reichardt (423.30) and Avery McEachern (410.35) will look to move the Gophers up the leaderboard this weekend. Ella Robinson cracked the top 50 swimmers in the conference at 48 and will look to finish her stellar season with a good result this weekend. Robinson qualified for two A finals as a first year last season while Alejandra Barry-Ruiz reached the B final in the 200 butterfly.
