Swimming Honored for Classroom Work by CSCAA
RICHMOND, Va. - The Goucher College men's and women's swimming teams were honored by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as both were named to the named to the Spring, 2023 CSCAA Scholar All-America Team announced Tuesday. The Gophers were two of 714 teams honored across all levels of collegiate swimming.
In order to be eligible for the CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, a team must compile a 3.0 team GPA for the semester.
Goucher's women's team compiled a 3.63 team GPA for the spring, 2023 semester. The Gopher women were honored for the 13th consecutive semester.
The Gopher men's team posted a cumulative team GPA of 3.18 in the spring.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
