Carter Hinton-Ayodele Named Landmark First Team All-Conference
TOWSON, Md. - Goucher College women's track and field first year Carter Hinton-Ayodele (Bowie, Md./Bowie) was named to the Landmark Conference All-Landmark First Team after winning the women's triple jump on Sunday at the conference's outdoor championships. It marks the third time Hinton-Ayodele has been named All-Conference in 2021-22, as they were First Team All-Conference in the triple jump and long jump during the indoor season.
Hinton-Ayodele was also the conference's Field Performer of the Meet and Rookie of the Meet at the indoor championships.
Hinton-Ayodele took first in the triple jump with a personal-best mark of 12.01 meters, acheived on their final jump of the day. That mark is good for No. 10 currently in NCAA Division III and was just 0.13 meters off the conference championship record set in 2013 by Micah Leonard of Moravian.
