Gophers Place Fifth at Stevenson

UPPERCO, Md. - Goucher College's women's golf team placed fifth out of seven scoring teams at Monday's Stevenson Fall Invitational at Piney Branch Golf Club.  The Gophers finished with a team score of 423.

Freshman Karlie Zamora (Linthicum Heights, Md. / North County) led the Gophers, tying for 12th with a 90.  Randi Marshall (La Quinta, Calif. / Half Moon Bay) carded a 95 to finish 18th.

Maddie Agrusti (Elkridge, Md. / Howard) and Grace Klain (Yerrington, Nev. / Nevada Connections Academy) posted scores of 117 and 121, respectively.  Molly Smith (Damascus, Md. / Damascus) rounded out the Goucher finishers.

Goucher returns to action Tuesday, October 5 when it competes at the Hood College Invitational at The Club at P.B. Dye in Ijamsville, Md.
