Women's Golf Wraps Up Landmark Conference Championship
SILVER SPRING, Md. - The Goucher College women's golf team wrapped up competition at the 2022 Landmark Conference Women's Golf Championship on Sunday at Northwest Golf Club. The Gophers improved by 19 strokes on day two, posting a total of 437, and finished fifth with a score of 893.
Drew University won the Landmark Conference championship, besting host Catholic by four shots.
Molly Smith (Damascus, Md./Damascus) led the Gophers on day two. She improved her score by 10 strokes and finished at 103 on Sunday. Grace Klain (Yerrington, Nev./Nevada Connections Academy) posted a 104 on Sunday and a two-day total of 207.
Maddie Agrusti (Elkridge, Md./Elkridge) and Paula Effinger (Steamboat Springs, Colo./Steamboat Springs) each improved their score by five shots on Sunday.
Kayla Diaz of Drew was medalist with a score of 145.
