Gophers Sit Third at Landmark Women's Golf Championship
MOOSIC, Pa. - The Goucher College women's golf team sits third out of five teams after the first round of the 2023 Landmark Conference Women's Golf Championship Sunday at Glenmaura National Golf Club. The Gophers posted a score of 400 to lead Scranton by one shot.
Defending champion Catholic (335) leads second-place Drew by nine shots.
Goucher first year Iseline Schenk (Bergen, Netherlands / Murmellius Gymnasuim) leads the Gophers as she shot an 84 on Sunday and sits in eighth overall. She sits just one shot back of a three-way tie for fifth.
Keeli Satterfield (Portland, Oregon / Valley Catholic) carded a 90 for the Gophers and currently sits 12th overall. Grace Klain (Yerrnington, Nev./Nevada Connections Academy) posted a 107.
Maddie Agrusti (Elkridge, Md./Howard) and Molly Smith (Damascus, Md./Damascus) also colmpleted the first round for Goucher.
The second and final round of the Landmark Conference Championship begins at 9 am Monday.
